As with many of our MBCA Roundtables, some of the most valuable conversations come not from formal presentations, but from members sharing real work products, practical experiences, and lessons learned with one another. To help facilitate that exchange, we're asking each participating institution to come prepared for two "Show & Tell" sessions.

  • Day One | Exam & Audit Lessons Learned:  Please bring one redacted examination finding or MRBA (Matters Requiring Board Attention) that your institution has addressed. If you have not had an examination finding or MRBA, please instead bring one redacted internal audit finding. During this session, we'll ask each participant to briefly discuss:
  • The issue that was identified.
  • How your institution responded.
  • What changes were implemented.
  • Any lessons learned or practices that may help other institutions facing similar issues.

The objective is not to compare examination results, but rather to learn from one another's experiences and the practical steps institutions have taken to strengthen their programs.

  • Day Two | AI Roadmap for AML/BSA As you know, artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of the AML/BSA conversation, whether through transaction monitoring, alert optimization, investigations, sanctions screening, customer due diligence, document review, or operational efficiency. For our second Show & Tell session, we'd like each institution to be prepared to share:
  • Your current AI roadmap for AML/BSA.
  • One specific AI initiative your institution expects to pursue over the next 12 months.
  • Where you are in the journey (exploration, pilot, implementation, or production).
  • What problem you're trying to solve and any early observations or lessons learned.

The goal isn't to determine whose approach is "best." It's to expose the group to a wide variety of practical ideas, experiences, and approaches that participants can adapt within their own institutions.
